1 month ago By Mark Castle

Winchester RFC looks to improve our facilities as part of NatWest Volunteers RugbyForce weekend.

Winchester RFC will again be taking part in NatWest RugbyForce, a nationwide programme developed in partnership with the RFU, which aims to help community rugby clubs become stronger businesses.
NatWest RugbyForce helps local rugby clubs to improve their facilities with the support of volunteers and the community, with a long term goal of making clubs more financially viable businesses.
The NatWest RugbyForce Weekend on 24th & 25th June is an opportunity for all club members and the local community to come together for a weekend of DIY to make a real difference. Winchester RFC is looking for the local community and businesses to support.

As well as volunteers, we are hoping to find donations of the following:

  • Paint trays, rollers & brushes
  • White emulsion
  • White Gloss Paint
  • Dust Sheets
  • Polyfilla (or alternative)
  • Sand paper
  • Fence Panels
  • Fence Posts
  • Ply Board

On 24th June we will be offering a complimentary breakfast for all volunteers to enjoy while watching The Lions play The All Blacks before a day of projects to revamp WRFC.

Please register your interest to get involved and support by contacting: Tracy.
